Baylor defensive lineman Greg Roberts and Iowa State running back David Montgomery were ejected for their role in a fight during Saturday’s game between the teams.
Roberts was seen throwing two punches at Montgomery during a scuffle in the third quarter, while Montgomery jabbed back. Both players were tossed.

On the ensuing play, excessive blocking by Hakeem Butler, who almost put his knee on Blake Lynch’s throat, led the big scuffle to break out where Roberts punched Montgomery.
The Cyclones running back apologized for his actions after the game.
First I would like to apologize to cyclone nation and my team for my actions, Me as a captain should have not reacted the way I did and I sincerely apologize for that!!! But I will defend my brothers no matter what and i stand on that!
