Ben Kline bloodies himself hyping teammates pregame (Video)
Penn State fell to Georgia 24-17 in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Saturday. However, Nittany Lions linebacker Ben Kline did all he could pregame to get some of his teammates hyped and ready to play.
Kline gathered with a few teammates prior to kickoff to give a motivational speech of sorts and then proceeded to head-butt a few of the guys while not wearing a helmet. Here’s video of Kline rallying the troops, which includes some very NSFW language.

The result of Kline’s head bashing is the photo you see above. Not surprisingly, Kline had to switch jerseys from his customary No. 38, due to what was labeled a “pregame issue.”
Due to a pregame issue, Ben Kline will wear #39 and Matt Baney will wear #18 today.

“Pregame issue” is a polite way to put it. I guess the Associate Director of Athletic Communications can’t exactly say “our linebacker went out and head-butted a few guys without a helmet on.”
