Tennessee coach Butch Jones appeared to say a naughty word about some unhappy fans during Tennessee’s blowout of Tennessee Tech.
On 4th down and goal from the 1-yard line, his team already ahead 35-0, Jones elected to kick a field goal instead of going for another touchdown. This decision was met with boos from some of the Neyland Stadium crowd, and TV cameras caught Jones using what appeared to be some unsavory language in response.
In case it wasn’t clear, an amateur lip-reading would probably indicate that that looks an awful lot like “f— all of them.”
It’s rather reminiscent of this incident, actually. You have to be careful with your words, Butch. The television audience is watching.
