Tennessee head coach Butch Jones celebrated his team’s game-winning field goal against Florida on Saturday. However, the field goal missed wide right, and the Volunteers lost the game.
Trailing 28-27, Tennessee set up for a 55-yard field goal attempt for the win. The kick did have the distance, but it was just a bit too far to the right. Unfortunately for Jones, it took him a bit of time to figure that out.
Jones will lament the fact that some poor officiating made this an even longer field goal attempt in what will go down as a bad loss for the Vols.
