The son of a former WWE star will be playing for Deion Sanders next season.

Gage Goldberg, the son of wrestling legend Bill Goldberg, has committed to Colorado. As ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren notes, Gage initially committed to Alabama as a preferred walk-on who would have been guaranteed a spot on the team without a scholarship.

Gage, a 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker from Boerne, Texas, will now walk on at Colorado. He flipped his commitment after Nick Saban stunned the college football world by announcing his retirement.

Sanders and Bill Goldberg were teammates on the Atlanta Falcons in 1992 and 1993. The elder Goldberg played college football at Georgia before bouncing around from the NFL to a couple of other professional leagues. He then went on to become one of the most popular wrestlers in WCW and WWE history. Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
