Derek Carr had the best celebration of all. After Fresno State beat Utah State 24-17 to win the Mountain West Conference, Carr put on a wrestling championship belt.
The belt looks amazing and has a Fresno State bulldog logo in the middle. It was on the table during the trophy presentation after the game, and Carr wore it with pride.
Carr finished the game 36-of-53 for 404 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Though the stats sound good, he actually told the Fresno Bee after the game that Utah State was the toughest defense he ever faced.
Carr, a senior, is expected to be among the top quarterback prospects in the NFL draft.
