Ole Miss lost to Miami 31-27 in their College Football Playoff semifinal game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on Thursday night, and their defeat had fans all saying the same thing.
The Rebels and Hurricanes were neck-and-neck for most of the game, with no team ever trailing by more than one score. The fourth quarter was especially thrilling, with the lead changing four times during the quarter. The Hurricanes prevailed thanks to a touchdown by Carson Beck with 18 seconds left.
The outcome of the game changing in the final seconds — and going in favor of Miami — had fans all commenting about how relieved Lane Kiffin must have been.

Nothing would have made Lane Kiffin look worse than seeing Ole Miss advance to the national championship game right after he deserted the program because he felt LSU offered a better chance to win a title. He can try to pretend all he wants that wanted Ole Miss to keep winning and get to the championship game, but most people recognize he feels relief that the team lost. How could he not?
