Georgia played without suspended running back Todd Gurley for the first time this season on Saturday, and the Bulldogs didn’t skip a beat. They dominated No. 23-ranked Missouri and leaned heavily on freshman Nick Chubb, who became the feature back in Gurley’s absence.
As you can see, one Georgia fan was prepared for Chubb’s big day. That’s easily one of the most clever signs we have seen this season.

Chubb finished with 38 carries for 143 yards and a touchdown. He added another 31 yards on four receptions. With Gurley suspended indefinitely in the wake of a memorabilia scandal, Georgia will need a player like Chubb to step up in the Heismain Trophy candidate’s absence.
