Jamal Haynes smoking a cigar to celebrate Georgia Tech's win over UCF

Georgia Tech made sure to celebrate in style on Friday even before their Gasparilla Bowl win over UCF was official.

The Yellow Jackets outlasted the UCF Knights 30-17 to win the Gasparilla Bowl held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Fla.

Georgia Tech came into the contest as underdogs but they sure didn’t celebrate like that was the case.

With over a minute left in the contest, Georgia Tech running back Jamal Haynes and other players were seen lighting up cigars while up 30-17.

Georgia Tech supporters had a lot to celebrate after Friday’s come-from-behind win to close their season.

The Yellow Jackets trailed the Knights 14-0 by the end of the first quarter before their team mounted a massive comeback. Georgia Tech outscored UCF 17-3 in the second quarter before shutting the door with a 13-0 advantage in the second half to seal the win.

Haynes led the charge with 128 rushing yards on 18 carries. The winning team pounded UCF on the ground to the tune of 284 yards rushing.
