The Notre Dame Fighting Irish needed a pretty dramatic rally to see off the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday.
Quarterback Ian Book led an 87-yard drive that included a 4th-and-10 conversion with his team in need of a touchdown and an extra point to take the lead. Facing a third and goal from the seven, Book simply kept it, calmly delivering the score the team needed.

This was actually Notre Dame’s first lead of the second half, and a huge relief for Notre Dame. It would’ve been their third loss of the season, and coach Brian Kelly would have really started feeling the heat from fans and media. That’s especially true after some of the mistakes they made earlier in the game.
