Former Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey went in hard at his former teammate John Franklin III on Saturday night, publicly ripping him to shreds during Auburn’s 19-13 loss to the Clemson Tigers.
John Franklin left FSU as a 3rd string & ended up at Auburn STILL a 3rd string…. Maybe it's not the program my dude ?☕️?

After failing to beat out Jameis Winston at Florida State in 2014, Franklin transferred to East Mississippi, but was relegated to the No. 2 spot there. He then transferred to Auburn, who had a plethora of question marks at the quarterback position, but again finds himself listed as the No. 3 quarterback behind Sean White and Jeremy Johnson.
Ramsey, who was selected No. 5 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in April’s NFL Draft, apparently took exception to the transfers or had some other sort of beef with Franklin. Either way, he pulled no punches on Saturday evening and hasn’t shied away from his comments given that the tweet is still live.
Franklin, who completed only one pass for -3 yards against Clemson, has had his college journey and multiple transfers chronicled on the Netflix documentary “Last Chance U.”
As of Sunday morning, Franklin has not replied to Ramsey’s tweet.
