Saquon Barkley put on an absolute show in Penn State’s comeback win over Iowa on Saturday night, leaving even his head coach impressed.
Barkley rushed for 211 yards and a touchdown, and he caught 12 passes for 94 yards. The junior running back also had 53 yards on kickoff returns.
After the 21-19 win, Penn State coach James Franklin raved about his star back.

“This guy was unbelievable. I didn’t get a chance to watch him from a fan’s perspective. But from a coach’s perspective, I can’t imagine there’s a better player in the country than this guy,” Franklin told ESPN after the game.
Barkley was a one-man show at times. Though credit must be given to Trace McSorley, who threw a game-winning touchdown pass on 4th and goal from the 7, when giving the ball to Barkley seemed like more of a risk.
