Penn State coach James Franklin is a passionate guy. So passionate, in fact, that his immediate reaction to a Cotton Bowl Gatorade shower was to tackle the player who gave it to him.
Franklin was ambushed by multiple players at the end of Penn State’s 53-39 win. After the Gatorade was dumped on him, he turned and executed a form tackle on one of the guys responsible, senior linebacker Cam Brown, and actually took him down.

It should be noted that Brown is listed at 6-5 and 233 pounds. He’s not a small guy, and Franklin managed to bring him down, even if the linebacker presumably wasn’t fighting against it that hard.
The reaction is unusual. It’s certainly passionate. Franklin didn’t seem mad, but considering his reaction to Gatorade showers in the past, one can never be too sure.
