Jeff Brohm reportedly meets with Louisville AD
Jeff Brohm has insisted that he will remain at Purdue, but that did not stop him from meeting with a Louisville official on Tuesday, according to a report.
Cardinal Authority reports that Brohm met with Louisville athletic director Vince Tyra in central Indiana on Tuesday. They say no decision was made but that one could come from Brohm by early Wednesday.
Louisville fired Bobby Petrino, who was in his second stint with the school, amid a horrible 2-10 season. Their interest for a new head coach starts and ends with Brohm, who played and coached at Louisville, and whose family roots are deep within the school.
Brohm is in his second season at Purdue and has the program 6-6 for the second year in a row (they finished 7-6 last season after winning their bowl game). His Boilermakers impressively beat Ohio State, Iowa, and BC and have averaged nearly 32 points per game this season.
Brohm said as recently as Saturday that he is looking forward to remaining at Purdue.
