Reports say Jeff Brohm will be named next Louisville head coach
Jeff Brohm is a name that has been brought up numerous times since Louisville decided to fire former head coach Bobby Petrino last weekend, and multiple reports are claiming the obvious candidate is going to get the job.
According to Dan Dakich of ESPN FM 107.5 and Kent Sterling of CBS 1430 in Indianapolis, Brohm has reached a verbal agreement to become the next head coach at Louisville.

Brohm made his name as a quarterback at Louisville in the 1990s and returned to the school as an assistant coach after he was done playing professionally. The connections between him and the vacant Louisville job were unavoidable, though he emphatically dismissed the rumors when Petrino was still with the Cardinals earlier this season.
Brohm is in his second season as the head coach at Purdue, where he has an overall record of 12-11. He led the Boilermakers to a signature win earlier this year over then-No. 2 Ohio State, but Purdue is just 5-5 on the season. If Louisville does land Brohm, we know one NBA star who will be very pleased about it.
