Jeff Okudah leaves Ohio State for NFL Draft
The projected top cornerback in the 2020 NFL Draft is, to the surprise of no one, going pro.
Ohio State’s Jeff Okudah announced Wednesday that he will be entering the draft and foregoing his senior season.

The only surprise is that the announcement took this long. Okudah could well be a top five draft pick after an outstanding career at Ohio State. He had three interceptions in 2019, and by the end of his college career, opposing passing games were trying to avoid his side of the field.
Okudah is the latest Ohio State star to be turning professional. They’ll have some serious rebuilding to do in 2020, but with one of the nation’s best recruiting classes, they should pull it off as they usually do.
