Watch: Jeremy Pruitt goes off on refs, gets unsportsmanlike conduct flag
If there is one thing clear about Jeremy Pruitt, it’s that he’s fiery. The Tennessee coach showed as much again on Saturday.
Pruitt had to be restrained as he yelled at the officials after Tennessee defensive lineman Darrell Middleton was ejected for targeting. Pruitt clearly disagreed with the call and could be seen yelling obscenities at officials. That was enough to get him flagged as well for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Pruitt didn’t have much of a leg to stand on. South Carolina quarterback Ryan Hilinski was a victim of a clear head-to-head targeting foul, and the refs got it right. It wasn’t enough to stop Pruitt from losing his cool.
Pruitt has given us hints in the past that he just doesn’t really mind when that happens.
