An emotional John O’Korn shed tears in the locker room Saturday after Michigan lost to Ohio State 31-20, ensuring that the Wolverines’ senior class would again go winless against their arch-rival.
O’Korn was particularly error-prone during the loss, missing open receivers and throwing a key interception late in the fourth to more or less kill off Michigan’s chances of coming back. The senior quarterback took full responsibility after the game.
John O’Korn just started crying and said “You come here to win this game. Our senior class wasn’t able to do it. I hold myself responsible for that. It sucks.”

Coach Jim Harbaugh has had to defend his struggling quarterbacks all season, but it’s hard to defend this. It’s also easy to understand why O’Korn is so broken up — for Michigan, the Ohio State game can define the entire season, even career, of some players. Not only did his senior class go 0-4 against the Buckeyes, but in his final game at Michigan Stadium, O’Korn simply did not perform well enough.
