Jordan Spieth compares last four rounds to Longhorns offense in great tweet
To say Texas’ offense struggled during the first half of its game against Notre Dame would be quite the understatement. At halftime, the Longhorns had been out gained 230 yards to 75 and trailed 17-0.
Among those not pleased the lack of production was Jordan Spieth, who played golf during his college years at the University of Texas. The world’s No. 2 ranked golfer took to his Twitter account during the game and made a comparison between the Longhorns offense and his own recent run of less than stellar play.
Texas' offense looking about as useful as my last 4 rounds….

That just about sums it up perfectly.
The four rounds Spieth referred to make up the first time the 22-year-old has missed the cut at consecutive events in his career. Spieth didn’t qualify for the Deutsche Bank Championship after shooting 75 and 73 in the first two rounds. This comes after he missed the cut at The Barclays with round scores of 74 and 73.
