Josh Robinson pulled off a ridiculous 22-yard run during the third quarter of Mississippi State’s win over Kentucky on Saturday that was so improbable only a Super Mario Bros. mashup could explain it.
During the run, Robinson broke about six tackles and seemingly gave nearly every member of Kentucky’s defense a chance to tackle him before he was finally brought down. Our friend World of Isaac, who is a mashup genius, put together this great video.
With a penalty and two passes, Mississippi State scored on the drive to go up 31-17. They won 45-31 and are now improbably still undefeated and No. 1 in the country. Robinson had 198 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. I never thought I’d see the day that Mississippi State was No. 1, but here we are. Unreal.
