Jourdan Lewis makes incredible one-handed interception (Video)

During Saturday’s game between Wisconsin and Michigan, Wolverines cornerback Jourdan Lewis put in his entry for catch of the year in college football.

Late in the fourth quarter, with Michigan up 14-7, Badgers quarterback Alex Hornibrook attempted a long pass to George Rushing. The junior wide receiver was covered by one of the best defensive players in the country in Lewis. While the ball was in the air, Lewis left his feet a couple of seconds early, but was still able to make an incredible one-handed interception.

The more you watch the replay, the more impressive Lewis’ play gets, especially when you realize how long he was in the air prior to snagging the football.

Lewis was an All-Big Ten First Team member last season and Second Team All-American. He was also a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe and Chuck Bednarik awards.
