Kyler Murray hedges on chances of football career
Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray has been the subject of a lot of two-sport speculation this week, but now he’s keeping the brakes on it a bit.
Appearing on CBS at halftime of the Army/Navy game, Murray admitted he’d love to play both baseball and football progessionally, but dismissed the chatter as “something that’s going around.”
Kyler Murray on CBS re: baseball/football
"I just think that's something that's going around … me playing both sports all my life, I would love to if it's in the cards."

Murray essentially said he’d love to do it, but isn’t sure how feasible it is and thinks the speculation may outweigh the potential reality right now. Of course, it was Murray himself who put that chatter into overdrive during an interview this week. For now, though, Murray is committed to playing baseball, and at least for the moment, anything beyond that is speculation.
