Laremy Tunsil sent Hugh Freeze a nice letter
Laremy Tunsil may have been the root of a lot of the problems Ole Miss currently has with the NCAA, but the man still has love for his former program. He even expressed that in a letter to Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze.
ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reports that Tunsil sent a letter to Freeze recently. The coach would not completely disclose the contents of the letter, but he did share a few words about it.
“His sincere love for me. That’s probably all I should say,” Freeze said of what Tunsil said in the note, via ESPN.
“There was a sweetness to it, but I knew that’s who he was. He’s a good kid, has a good heart.”
It’s not a big surprise that Tunsil sent the letter and that it had such a tone.
Tunsil never really seemed like a bad guy; he seemed more like a guy who had bad people around him and made decisions that got the program in trouble. A lot of his current issues are related to problems with his stepfather, who is suing him and has provided information to the NCAA.
