After getting blown out by East Carolina on Saturday, Larry Fedora now has insult to go along with injury.
The North Carolina football coach was the target of a billboard that went up over the weekend featuring former ECU star QB Shane Carden. The billboard read, “Coach Fedora. Remember Me?” It also made reference to Saturday’s final score of 41-19 as well as the last meeting between the two teams in 2014 when Carden threw for 438 yards and four touchdowns in a 70-41 Pirates win.
Facebook user Regina Person Whittemore posted an image of the billboard to an ECU fanpage, stating that it was in Goldsboro.

What makes the billboard even better is that Fedora claimed earlier in the week that he had no recollection of the 2014 matchup with East Carolina.
Fedora, on what he remembers of UNC's last trip to Greenville (2014): "I don't remember a thing about it."
DG: Seriously? How could you completely forget (a 70-41 ECU victory) something like that? Or are you joking?
Fedora: I'm serious.
DG: I don't believe you.
Fedora: That's OK.— David Glenn Show (@DavidGlennShow) September 5, 2018
Fedora, whose Tar Heels are now 0-2 to start the season, made headlines in recent months with some bizarre claims about the state of the sport. Now the headlines are coming in at his expense this time.
