The LSU Tigers are going to try to make Sam Ehlinger’s life miserable when they face Texas on Saturday. LSU fans are already doing their part to make the Longhorns quarterback feel that way.
During an appearance Friday on “The Paul Finebaum Show,” ESPN college football reporter Maria Taylor said that LSU fans had gotten a hold of Ehlinger’s phone number and were bombarding him with phone calls and text messages.

“Somehow LSU fans have found out Sam (Ehlinger’s phone) number,” Taylor reported. “He’s got like 600 something text messages from LSU fans and is getting calls nonstop.”
Few college athletes in the spotlight to the extent Ehlinger is handle the pressure and fan attacks better. He has shared his strategy for dealing with Twitter trolls, and it is brilliant. The junior quarterback is probably blocking everything out and focusing even harder on the game. The words of LSU linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson will probably only motivate Ehlinger more.
The teams will meet Saturday evening at Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.
