Michigan standout defensive lineman Rashan Gary left Saturday’s game against Northwestern with an injury.
Gary was in on a tackle on a running play by Northwestern midway through the third quarter with the Wolverines down 17-10. A few players were involved in the pileup, and Gary remained on the turf afterwards.
Michigan’s trainers attended to the junior, who later walked off the field and then into the locker room.
According to MLive’s Michigan reporter Aaron McMann, Gary was favoring his arm as he headed off the field.
