Mike Tomlin stops Auburn field goal return for touchdown
Chris Davis’ field goal return for a touchdown on the last play of the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama on Saturday was one of the most significant plays of the college football season. Davis caught a 57-yard field goal attempt from Alabama that was short and returned it the length of the field for the score to give the Tigers a 34-28 win. Though he raced up the Auburn sideline — not the Bama one — some folks on the ‘net thought it would be funny to place Mike Tomlin in the picture.
You know if the Steelers coach were around, Davis somehow would have been stopped. We’re still convinced without a doubt that Tomlin intentionally stuck his foot out to stop Jacoby Jones on Thanksgiving.
