Report: Nebraska informing recruits that Scott Frost will be next coach

There is yet another sign that Scott Frost is all set to be Nebraska’s next head coach.

According to Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated, the Cornhuskers have begun to inform recruits that Frost, currently at UCF, will not only be coaching Nebraska next year, but already has nearly all of his staff in place.

All that’s missing at this point is official confirmation. Frost to Nebraska — where he played in the 1990s — has looked like a foregone conclusion for a while now, with the coach himself more or less confirming that he wanted to be considered. The only impediment now may be the fact that Frost’s UCF team has to finish their memorable season.
