Nick Saban Dosed by the Gatorade Cooler in the Head During Celebration

If they don’t call him no-fun-Nick, maybe they should. Alabama’s head coach Nick Saban apparently has a no Gatorade bath rule for victories that his team broke on Thursday night. Considering it was the National Championship game, I’m sure Saban was fine to be on the receiving end of the red shower. Problem is his players got too overzealous and wound up running into his noggin with the cooler. Watch the Nick Saban Gatorade bath video to check it out:

Saban was even asked about the Gatorade bath after the game and seemed to echo our sentiment expressed above: “I’m a lot happier with the bath than if I didn’t get one, I can tell you that.” Yes coach, some moments are worth celebrating. Saban now has won titles at both LSU and Alabama, and this one came in just his third year at Tuscaloosa. Not too bad my friend, not too bad. When ranking college football head coaches, I’d have to say Saban tops the list.
