Nick Saban lands the best recruits and has built a college football empire at Alabama, and apparently he’s done it all without modern technology.
Saban told “The Dan Patrick Show” on Wednesday that he’s never sent an email or a text message — and when he receives one, he simply calls the person back.
Nick Saban told us he has never sent an email in his life.
He has also never sent a text.

This is really incredible if you think about it. Saban has been a high-level football coach for decades, and recruiting is an integral part of the college game. One would think that emailing and texting recruits is essentially a job requirement, but Saban is apparently proving otherwise.
Saban said earlier in the month that the coronavirus pandemic has finally inspired him to get his own email. Apparently he’s only receiving messages and not sending them.
