Ohio State fans rip Cardale Jones on Twitter despite victory
Cardale Jones is only nine months removed from quarterbacking the Ohio State Buckeyes to a national championship, but many fans are fed up with him, if his Twitter mentions are any indication.
It started with a relatively innocuous tweet from Jones after the Buckeyes held off Indiana 34-27 on Saturday.
S/O to them Bucks 5-0

As this tweet shows, however, Jones was quickly attacked by Ohio State fans for his continued poor play in spite of the team’s unbeaten record.
Can someone explain how this "Making an idiot out of myself will make me feel better" thing is supposed to work? pic.twitter.com/b3X1uNMizG

It should be noted that Jones knows plenty about creating a stir on Twitter after what he did with his own profile earlier this season.
While it’s certainly true that Ohio State’s offense has labored this year, those issues don’t start and end with Jones. They didn’t look that much better when J.T. Barrett got a chance under center. Even if Jones was the problem, these sorts of tweets are idiotic and aren’t going to fix anything, and at the end of the day, the Buckeyes are still atop the polls and control their own destiny when it comes to reaching the college football playoff.
