Murray, a junior, had 155 tackles last season and was named second team All-Big 12. He entered Saturday’s game against Kansas with 31 tackles on the season, including four for a loss.
Murray is a leader and tone-setter for the defense. He had rallied the troops early in the game to get the defense fired up.
A note as the offense is driving: Kenneth Murray huddled up the entire defense minutes ago. Looked animated.
