Brother of Oregon QB Justin Herbert commits to Ducks
Justin Herbert may one day be throwing passes for the Oregon Ducks to his own brother.
Herbert’s brother Patrick, a four-star tight end recruit, announced his commitment to the Ducks on Sunday.
Hope Eugene isn’t tired of the Herbert’s yet, I’ll be around for a few more years. #M19HTYOREGON #88 #FamilyThing pic.twitter.com/bAIjoVYO67

Patrick, who will be a senior at Sheldon High School in Eugene this fall, caught 34 passes for 462 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He also had 66 tackles as a defensive end. In addition to football, he has also played baseball and basketball for the school.
Justin will be a junior this fall for Oregon. He has passed for 34 touchdowns and nine interceptions over two seasons and has rushed for seven scores. He could be a Heisman Trophy contender next season if he manages to stay healthy.
The Herbert family is doing their part to ensure plenty of talent remains in Oregon.
