Some Oregon fans were seen throwing bottles at Stanford players who were exiting the field following an overtime win over the Ducks on Saturday night.
The Athletic’s Chantel Jennings shared video that shows some fans tossing items as the Cardinal players ran through the tunnel towards the locker room inside Autzen Stadium.

Oregon fans were understandably upset after the loss. The Ducks blew a 24-7 lead, and were also up by two scores with under five minutes to go and still lost. They fumbled the game away with a minute to go. But none of that excuses the fans’ behavior. They never should throw items at players.
