Rice Owls quarterback Wiley Green was taken off the field on a stretcher after being hit in the head during Friday’s game against Wake Forest.
Green faked a handoff on a bootleg in the first quarter of the game and was looking push for the end zone. He was hit by Justin Strnad and came up short, taking the brunt of the blow to his head.
