We have no idea what Steve Spurrier was up to in advance of the Capital One Bowl this week, but Wisconsin fans shouldn’t like it. South Carolina and Wisconsin are set to square off on New Year’s Day, and Badgers fans need to be worrying about the Gamecocks head coach posing as their athletic director.
For whatever reason, Spurrier was photographed this week wearing a “Barry Alvarez” name tag. Alvarez happens to be Wisconsin’s athletic director, so there’s no telling what type of classic Ole Ball Coach scheme is at work here. The good news is he was wearing a shirt, which is never a given with Spurrier.
