
Texas quarterback Shane Buechele is expected to be available against USC after missing last week with a shoulder injury, according to a report.
The sophomore QB missed Texas’ game against San Jose State last weekend with a shoulder injury. He was able to throw and took limited reps in practice on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Horns Digest’s Chip Brown said Buechele was expected to be available against USC on Saturday.

Freshman Sam Ehlinger played against San Jose State and was 15 of 27 for 222 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 48 yards. Junior Jerrod Heard took a few snaps at QB and rushed for 39 yards and two touchdowns.
The 1-1 Longhorns face the 2-0 Trojans on Saturday at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.
