Todd Graham named new Hawaii football coach
Hawaii lost Nick Rolovich to Washington State, but they picked up a more than qualified replacement.
The Rainbow Warriors announced on Tuesday that they have hired Todd Graham as their new head football coach.
Graham, 55, comes to Hawaii after being fired by Arizona State following the 2017 season. He went 46-32 in six seasons at Arizona State and is 95-61 in his career as a head coach.
Prior to ASU, Graham coached Pitt for one season, Tulsa for four, and Rice for one.
Graham should do well at Hawaii, but the one concern Hawaii should have is about how long Graham might remain there. He has left two coaching jobs after only one season. Maybe two years out of the sport has taught Graham some humility and the appreciation of opportunities.
