Tom Herman loses his mind after scuffle during kneeldown
Tom Herman lost his mind during a scuffle that broke out amid a kneeldown in the final minute of Oklahoma State’s 38-35 win over Texas on Saturday night.
The Cowboys had the ball and just needed to kneel down to end the game. But Texas senior defensive lineman Breckyn Hager got into it with a Cowboys player before the snap and decided to come after him even after Oklahoma State had taken its knee. The physical contact led Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy to run onto the field to try and pull his players away from the situation.
Texas head coach Tom Herman saw Gundy run onto the field, so he did the same. He then started yelling wildly at Gundy while being held back by the officials.

The game soon ended, and the two coaches met to hash things out. They shared a hug and Gundy explained to Herman he was just trying to defuse the situation.
“I didn’t want it to get ugly, so it’s all good,” Gundy said in an interview with ESPN after the game.
Things may be all good, but they sure got heated for a moment.
