Harrell coordinated an offense that averaged 33.2 points per game this season, which ranks 36th in the country. The Trojans were able to put up points regardless of whether it was JT Daniels, true freshman Kedon Slovis, or Matt Fink playing quarterback.
Harrell, 34, is a former Texas Tech quarterback who joined USC’s staff from North Texas. The Texas native was also being pursued by the Longhorns, so USC being able to retain him is a significant development.
