Few things get fans fired up quite like rivalry games. Unfortunately, some fans take rivalries a little too far.
Tennessee and Florida are set to play on Saturday in Gainesville. Ahead of the matchup between the SEC East rivals, a video was shared by Barstool Sports’ University of Tennessee Twitter account.
The video, which they say was submitted by a user, shows a stream of liquid soiling the Tim Tebow statue outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Most believe the video shows a person urinating on the statue, though it could just be a liquid being poured on it.
Either way, the act is disrespectful towards a campus landmark at Florida.
We’ve seen plenty of intense Tennessee fans in the past, but usually they’re content to prop up their squad in very creative ways. This crosses a line.
