Washington stars gloat after latest Apple Cup win
The Washington Huskies on Friday beat rival Washington State 28-15 to win their sixth straight Apple Cup, leaving their players with plenty of reasons to gloat afterwards. And they did just that.
Senior running back Myles Gaskin, who rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns in the win, said after the game that the Cougars “don’t want none” of Washington.
Asked #Washington RB Myles Gaskin why he thinks the Huskies have been able to dominate Wazzu like they have. “They don’t want none. It happens every year. That’s how we do it.”

Senior quarterback Jake Browning boasted about going 4-0 in his career against Washington State.
Jake Browning: “I heard it sucks to lose to the Cougs, and I’m glad I’ve never had to experience that.”

The Huskies played spoiler, essentially eliminating any slim chance the Cougs had at making the College Football Playoff. They also won the Pac-12 North and will face Utah in the conference championship game.
