Duke Lacrosse Accuser Crystal Mangum Charged with Assault in Stabbing
The former stripper who accused several members of Duke’s lacrosse team of raping her in 2006, Crystal Mangum, finds herself in trouble yet again. I say “again” because Mangum also got into trouble a year ago and had to spend time in jail for charges of attempted first-degree murder, five counts of arson, assault and battery, communicating threats, three counts of misdemeanor child abuse, injury to personal property, identity theft and resisting a public officer. Yeah, that shopping list all came after a fight with her boyfriend.
Well guess what? Mangum has a new boyfriend, but is going through the same problems.
WRAL reports that Mangum has been accused of stabbing her boyfriend and she’s being charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. A friend of the boyfriend says the victim was stabbed several times and is in “bad shape,” unfortunately.
Much like the warning we issued to Chuck Knoblauch, this guy should have known better. Before you get together with a girl, do your research man, it will save you in the end.
By the way, where is all the media now to apologize to the Duke players for ruining their reputations over this story? If the school president could do it, why can’t you?
