McKinnon signed a four-year deal with the 49ers in 2018, and the first two years of that will be a lost cause now. He tore his ACL prior to the start of the 2018 season. That knee flared up again during preseason in 2019, and it was reported that he may need another procedure to correct the issue.
McKinnon has 1,918 rushing yards over four seasons, all with the Minnesota Vikings.
