Aaron Rodgers reportedly broke up with Olivia Munn over family drama
Aaron Rodgers’ relationship with Olivia Munn was said to be one of the reasons the Green Bay Packers quarterback had a falling out with his family, and a report about why the couple split seems to confirm that.
A source close to both Rodgers and Munn told Us Weekly that Rodgers is the one who broke up with the actress, and the family drama played a role.
“The big issue is that Olivia doesn’t get along with his family,” the source said, via Jaclyn Hendricks of the New York Post. “They think she’s controlling.”
Leading up to and during the NFL season last year, Rodgers’ personal life became a hot topic of conversation after his younger brother Jordan aired out some dirty laundry while filming for “The Bachelorette.” Jordan revealed that Aaron no longer speaks to him or several other members of the Rodgers family, and there has been speculation that the feud had something to do with Munn.
Rodgers’ father, Ed, confirmed a report about Aaron that painted the Pro Bowler in a very negative light last year, though Ed did not say whether Munn had anything to do with Aaron’s strained relationship with his family. If Rodgers suddenly reconciles with Jordan or other members of his family, it’s a pretty safe bet that his relationship with Munn was one of the biggest issues.
