Adam Gase’s wife shares ridiculous story about birth of their son
Adam Gase is clearly dedicated to his coaching career. The current New York Jets coach is so dedicated, in fact, that he bolted on his son’s birth at the first possible moment to make a meeting with Peyton Manning.
The story, which dates back to when Gase was an assistant with the Denver Broncos, is relayed in a profile by Dan Pompei of The Athletic. His wife, Jennifer, recalled that Gase checked to make sure she was “good” immediately after their son’s birth, then left for his meeting, declining to cut the umbilical cord.

So it’s safe to say Gase is a workaholic, and it’s safe to say he’s quite competitive, for better or worse. Maybe this explains those unusual facial expressions somehow.
