Alex Reimer suspended indefinitely by WEEI over comment about Tom Brady’s daughter

Tom Brady

A radio host and columnist for WEEI in Boston has been suspended by the network in the wake of a controversial remark he made about Tom Brady’s daughter.

On Friday evening, Alex Reimer said on WEEI’s “Mut at Night” show that he was bothered by Brady’s 5-year-old daughter Vivian acting like an “annoying little pissant” in the opening scene of the latest episode of Brady’s multi-episode documentary. According to WEEI, Reimer has been sent home from the Super Bowl in Minneapolis and suspended indefinitely.

As you might expect, the disparaging comments did not sit well with Brady. The star quarterback cut his weekly interview with WEEI’s “Kirk & Callahan Show” short on Monday and said he will be evaluating whether or not he wants to appear on the show in the future.

Earlier this month, the Patriots and WEEI announced that they have signed a multi-year extension to keep their partnership going, which includes weekly radio appearances from Brady and Bill Belichick among others.
