Alshon Jeffery frustrated with offense over lack of touchdowns

Alshon Jeffery

To say that Alshon Jeffery is frustrated with the Chicago Bears’ offense would be an understatement.

Jeffery had nine catches for 73 yards on Sunday, while quarterback Brian Hoyer passed for 302 yards. But the Bears only managed one touchdown while settling for three field goals in a 17-16 loss to the Jaguars.

The inability to score TDs has Jeffery frustrated.

“We’ve got to score f—ing touchdowns,” Jeffery vented after the game, via the Chicago Tribune’s Rich Campbell. “That’s it. Period. Touchdowns win games. You see what 3 points get us.”

The Bears are 1-5 this season and entered the game the third-worst team in the league in terms of points scored. Hoyer throwing for 300-plus yards and not turning the ball over is nice, but the Bears need to start scoring touchdowns in order to win. It’s pretty plain for Jeffery and all Bears fans to see.
