A rough day for the Cincinnati Bengals got worse Sunday as quarterback Andy Dalton was knocked out of the game with an injured thumb.
Dalton was injured early in the third quarter and left the game, replaced by backup Jeff Driskel. The Bengals called it a thumb injury and announced that Dalton was questionable to return.

When Driskel took the field, Cincinnati was down 35-7, and Dalton and his team were already having a very rough day against the Cleveland Browns. Even with a fair amount of time remaining, a Bengal comeback looks very unlikely, so it might be that Cincinnati simply opts to shut the quarterback down for the day and hope he can go next week.
