Art Jones, brother of Jon Jones, suspended four games for drug violation

Art Jones

Arthur Jones, the brother of UFC fighter Jon Jones, has been suspended the first four games of the upcoming NFL season for a violation of the league’s drug policy, the league announced Friday. The failed test marks the latest in a string of disappointments since Jones signed with the Indianapolis Colts.

Jones signed a five-year, $33 million deal with the Colts prior to the 2014 season. He played in just nine games that season and missed all of last season after suffering torn ligaments in his ankle. Now he will miss the first four games of the 2016 season.

What’s interesting is that Jones is one of three brothers who are all professional athletes. Middle brother Jon Jones was pulled from UFC 200 for failing a pre-fight drug test. Youngest brother Chandler Jones is a star pass rusher now with the Arizona Cardinals. He had problems with recreational drugs back in January.
